I really hope you don’t auclalty plan on doing this.Yeah circumcision might reduce outbreak prevelence . but so would cutting off your entire penis. If there is less surface area, there is less for there to have an outbreak. So it’s foolish to believe this procedure is auclalty going to help you.Plus there are medications out there that you can take that made outbreaks for people incredibly rare (like once every couple years if not no more outbreaks at all). The medicine also makes it less likely that you will spread the disease to someone else. If you have Herpes, there is not such thing as a disease free period. You will ALWAYS have the disease untill they find a cure. If you want to mutilate your penis that’s your right for your body, but circumcision by no means is a treatment for Herpes esspecially when there are way better advancements in medicine that work a million times better. Circumcision does a lot of damage to the penis resulting in huge amounts of sensitivity and function loss. Seems really stupid to me to cash in 50% of your sexual pleasure for some random statement that has never been studied in depth and proven.Dont’ believe everything you hear without auclalty taking the time to research it and know that what they are talking about is medically and scientifically valid. (this is not valid)You have to be very careful about correlational studies. They only show relationships, not causation. Yeah they show that circumcised men have less outbreaks than uncircumcised men but why? Untill they prove WHY the statement has no weight to it at all. There are a lot of medical coincidences in the world. Untill it’s studied and proven with facts it’s just a coincidence. In fact if you know anything about Herpes you will kind of know it’s a load of crap. Herpes is still running through your body, doesn’t matter what you cut off, it’s still there. And it’s not your foreskin that determines how many outbreaks you have, it’s your disease. I think you’d be a fool to get circumcised for this reason.-Connor
